In response to StormTrooper, you sound very much like a police officer to me, and since you are, you also know how easy in this country it is to obtain illegal contraband. Yes it is illegal for teens to buy a fire arm. I never said they legally obtain them. I didn't legally obtain my megatron(s) though either. I have no intention of ever holding up a bank with one. ( Perish the thought, I don't open my toys). What I am very sacastically saying is that due to our lovely second ammendment rights, mothers in the mid-west can purchase their teens a fire arm. A bully calls them fat, or stupid, and they come into school the next day guns ablazin'. What I'm saying is maybe if the government gave more of a Blot about real guns being either obtained legally or illegally and less of a Blot about fake guns, then maybe their would be less highschool, workplace, and college shootings. . . But I'll check to you, . . . my father is in law enforcement and the police do have enough things on their hands rather then worrying about litigation. But I'll tell you the same thing I say to him, just because you uphold the law, doesn't mean everyone else does, and it doesn't mean our laws are just or fair.

:wave bye bye Megatron! (favorite toy as teenager)

There are plenty of G1 Megatrons on ebay.

All of this commotion about G1 Megatron, especially in Australia concerning Masterpiece Megatron, really cements G1 Megatron's place the most evil of Megatrons. Sure, movie Megatron may have torn Jazz in half, but G1 Megatron can hold entire countries in terror.

Goodbye the Gun version of Megatron.... Long live Gen 2 Megas or any other version of him! :clap :clap :clap

:fire :finger :danmit :eplus :punch :tard :slap :khead

Don't you realize that this will not only make it harder to get one but, will also make the demand and prices go higher probably going to make it one of the most sought after G1 toys of all time.

I am not a police officer, nor have I ever worked in a law-enforcement capacity.I hate to tell you this, but no matter how difficult or even illegal it is for someone to obtain a firearm, if someone is intent on doing another individual harm with one, no amount of legislation. You said it yourself "just because you uphold the law, doesn't mean everyone else does."The government is no the one trying to prevent you from buying a G1 Megatron figure, ebay is the culprit. I'd say its their choice what they will and won't allow on their website(s).

I knew there was something positive in all this! There you go, argument over, end of discussion!

The real Blotty part about this, is that I'm still looking for my last 3 G1(-esque) Megatrons.

If anyone can help: boxed complete, preferably in unused condition(stickers unapplied, bullets on sprues)

MC-12 Gunrobo Walther P38 Grey/Black/Blue version

G1 US Movie(86) Mail-away Megatron w/certificate+sticker

G1 Jap VSX

Geez, you aren't asking for much, are you? :tflaugh

Good luck with that.

The easiest way to stop school shootings is to arm the Teachers. Honestly, who would try to shoot up the school if they knew the teachers would return fire?

Oh, and stop showing this s**t on TV for weeks at a time, it just encourages those a**holes!

:tfsad

Sunstorm, it is a very bleek day when we have to have our teachers prepare a syllabus in the evening, after coming home from the firing range. I do have to agree with you though. These sick f'd up teens need to be taught its not ok to kill people no matter how they treat you. There are other ways of getting back at bullies besides shooting them. Also what I noticed is innocent bystanders usually get caught in the cross fire. This has to stop. And banning Megatrons on EBAY or making them illegal for sale in stores is not an ends to a means. Its almost like saying to prevent lung cancer we need to stop selling novelty cigarettes. They look too real. If a child see's someone pretending to smoke they might consider it too. :tdown
