Ok, I see it now.

 

It's just cuz the scanning mechanism is on one arm and the bed/cover on the other.

To me I thought his right arm looked like part of an old 80's style computer printer, and his left looked like part of a laptop, so I was all thrown off. :tflaugh

 

But it still looks awesome, and doesn't offset all your other awesome pieces...lol.
