Which series dominates your collection?

Recommended Posts

For me, BW and G1 are always vying for the lead in my collection, but I think at last count G1 was on top and will probably stay there. For BW, I really only bought (buy) show characters, and I'm pretty close to completing that.

My "second tier" is fairly evenly split between Energon, Cybertron, and Classics.

Either beast wars (still trading them off) or Energon/armada.

I got to get a list of ones I have by numbers.

most of my collection is alternators...

I would say that Beast Wars is the dominant part of my collection, but in reality, I know I have more G1. I love both series, but since I have 100% of US released BW, I guess that is my favorite, although I do have quite a lot (1.5x as many actually) of G1.

G1

You actually have a collection? I thought you had 3-4 figures total? Two of them G1? :07laugh

BW. Somehow G1 doesn't interest me enough to pursue collecting it. I pick up stuff like the New Year's releases and random things like Pepsi Convoy but that's about it. BW (and II, and Neo, and Beast Machines) just holds my interest. I think it's the number of no-show characters, they really open things up as far as deciding who this character is and what they're doing etc. Fave BW toy... Airhammer.

After that AEC obviously, I kinda just group them all together. The one with the single most is probably GF (it's just occurred to me none of my toys are actually from Cybertron, they're ALL Japanese) but it's hard to tell.

Alts then pull ahead pretty clearly but they drive me nuts, I've half a mind to trade them all off.

RID lags behind, mostly because of my '1 of each mold' rule.

I picked up several classics and most of the movie toys. Of AEC I got only the ones that really tickled my fancy. I'd have to say that aside from my Starscreams, Alternators make up the bulk of my collection.

G1

G1 for the win, but I have a decent assortment...at least a few figures from each line...I think.
