Yellow Alt/BT Swindle (Hound Remold) Sighted

Recommended Posts

He looks good, but they're going to have to do more to the mold to get me to buy him (at full price)....as he kinda just looks like a yellow Hound....the other remolds did a much better job at feeling like new characters. :tdown

Agreed but I will get him as is right now...I think there needs to be a little more remolding to be done...maybe...a Rag top would make it look cool...not sure how they would do it though?

I do like the open look though...

Just needs something...more bang for $

As I see it, there isn't much more they can remold on the jeep itself. If I'm not mistaking, all the white parts of the first prototype were remolded pieces, meaning a slightly modified hood and doors, in addition to the new head, rollbar, and chrome grill.

Besides, if Hasbro and Takara can make some easy profit on the repaints, it will help fuel the funds for creating all new Alternator molds.

More distinctive than Silverstreak, who already was rather well done. If only the Autobot logo would vanish...

Got this over at the 2005, didn't see anything on it so here ya go.

I say it Swindle, looks cool, http://www.2005boards.com/showthread.php?t=51150

He also has Mister, Finished colors its thought to be, http://www.2005boards.com/showthread.php?t=51285

All credet go to P. Prime of the 2005. :thumb

I like, although the head seems a tad off, still good homage, glad to see it got done :)

You know, I'm very weak.

I agree with the points that a little bit more remolding would do the figure good (plainly taking an Autobot mold, put a new head on and another logo and calling it a Decepticon is too simple). Nevertheless, I would buy this figure without even thinking about it.

I still feel this is a very week remold....hell it doesn't even look like a remold.....it just looks like a yellow Hound with a brush guard slapped on at the front....you don’t even notice the wheels unless you look at them really hard and do a side by side comparison with Hound.

For me I would have loved to have seen a removable roof added, whether a hardtop or ragtop (just plastic molded to look like a ragtop). Both Deadend and Silverstreak where done much better, as even though they were both made from Sideswipe's and Smokescreen’s molds (respectively) they didn’t feel like were just the same old bots with a simple paint and name change which is kinda how “Swindle comes of feeling…..I love my BT hound, but I think I’m going to pass on this one….or at least wait for a sale on the alternators version. :tdown

waaah....... :roll

He's as much a remold as Silverstreak was/is. I think this is awesome. Purple eyes! He has purple eyes! (But Alternators is NOT G1 - remember that everyone!! :tftongue )

On another note, I am currently on my second helping of crow this morning, as I had previously decided that without a doubt this would be Trailbreaker..... oops..!

Dude, Swindle was a hummer (yah yo my humma'.

Dude, he was a JEEP!

Would be cool if they include an M-60 or something to attach to the top of him like an attack Jeep from ww2...

Swindle was a Jeep in the cartoon, but here is what the toy was based off of. And YES, I most certainly do wish you could buy something like this....
