Prime Swords for leader class *Coming soon*

Recommended Posts

I'm as interested in this as the saws for Ratchet.

You're going for the real authentic look here.

Question. Is it sharp??

As long as I can just plug it onto him w/o ruining him, I'd be interested.

It isnt sharp like a real blade, the one in the pic is ground slightly to give it an edge, when they are cut

they all have flat sides. the tip is probably the sharpest bit. Still I would not reccomend putting it on a young childs robot.

As for fitting for the static blades. I am thinking of two designs. The basic model will fit over his fist so you can remove it for transforming

and the other will actually be fixed into the arm in place of his rotating "fist plate" If he is just for display.

The spring loaded one will fit on the side of the arm (this version will be a while yet though)

Here are some pictures of the first assembly for testing. Ignore the paint apps the real things will be sprayed (and have orange blade)

All you do is fold Prime's fist away and slide the "u" bracket over his arm. It has soft foam on the underside of the metal so you don't scratch up

the paint it also helps keep the bracket in place.

Beautiful man, great work!!

not too shabby!

I'm not too big on the bracket though. Is there a way to design the bracket as a sheath type thing like Prime's arm gun? Not one that flips out...just added on. Or mkae a thinner bracket with a peg that Prime can hold?

Keep in mind, even like this I would buy one heh.

The basic 2 sword will actually replace his fist plate and be fixed into his arm. The basic 1 above is for quick removal and for those who don't want to take his arm apart.

Still there are many ways to attach this so I will look into alternatives. It's always nice to have choice.
