I was looking at the Encore Megatron and wondered if he comes w/ everything (plastic pellets, energy axe,etc.) that the other G1 versions came with. I didn't see them in the pic. Are these figures cheaper cuz they are newer? I just want to pick up a G1 Megs, Soundwave, & Starscream. Are these worth it or should I hold out till find the older reissues for a resonable price on ebay. :tflaugh

I would get them if you don't have any other versions. I don't thin they canged any of the mold, like they said they ewere going to. lying Powerglideers.

This is more or less a reissue of the Micrchange MC-13 U.N.C.L.E. The only version of the G1 Megatron to ever come with his energon mace is the TFC-06. In Japan on the other hand, they never got a Megatron that had the Scope/Silencer/Stock until the reissues (we're up to 3 since '01[Goodbye Megatron had the Scope only]). Where-as us in the US never got a Megatron that actually fired projectiles.

 

If you look around enough you could probably pick up a TFC-06 Megatron for about the same as the Encore version, TFC containing the Mace, encore being in a G1 style box w/no mace.

Prime has the autobot symbol painted on so thats type different and a variant.

I got the Prime, because somehow a Mint G1 Prime has eluded me. A shame I pre-ordered from a Blotty seller.

 

I was expecting some minor mold changes. Specifically, I was hoping that they fixed Soundwave's door hinges to be like his G1 counterpart.

 

I'm guessing they didn't. In fact, I expect that they didn't make one single damn change to Soundwave.

I gave in about a week or so ago now and got all 4 from Xyber Toys... they cost me £127 incl P+P!! so at a little over £30 each, I'm happy. I know if I didn't order them now I would regret it later because I'm sure the price will go up. I just love the Japanese boxes... and I don't yet own a Soundwave, or Prime with long smokestacks... I have the Takara Reissue of megatron and Hasbro TRU Starscream (as well as a G1 original Starscream)... but I like keeping everything minty in the box, so yea... I had to get these.

 

Anyone know if megatron will have a sh*tty orange plug if he's shipped to England?

the oringe plug is a US thing so dont warry about it

 

im tempted to get prime since my G1 prime has always been a messed up cab and i have pepsi convoy to stand in his place and that just isnt right

I just got Megs and Prime yesterday. No Axe nor Mace in there, which is a bit of a disappointment.

what about the ehobby megaplex megatron that came with everything ( stock,silencer,scope, and the energon mace ) dose that count ?
