I wonder what Gimmicks these 2 dinobot Energon Grimlock & Swoop 2 pack will have.

 

I pray there not stand alone toys with no gimmicks.

 

My "Wishful" guess will is "2 in 1" combiners like most Autobot deluxes & Mega's. I'd be kinda cool if they could combine with the E-Autobot deluxes & Mega's too. this way well get vechicles who wear dino pants or shirts.

 

Imagine if they'll be another 3 Energon dinosaurs released at the deluxe price range. (I mean each dino cost $10 dollars each. not a 3 pack of dino's for $10.) I'd be damn neat to have 5 deluxe E-dinobots combine into a 5 in 1 gestalt. that would be a similar size to G-1 1986 Predaking.

 

I guess these 2 E-Dinobots could have any gimmick. They might be a sub fraction of sorts. there gimmick might be hyper weapons like the decepticons.

 

At any rate I hope the seller/guy who showing all the Proto types. gives us a clue to what E-Grimlock & Swoops gimmicks are.

 

The sellers/guys name is S250,He's a regular poster/replier on the TF2005 News boards. Perhaps a few transformers fans,could email him about the gimmicks that E-Grimlock & E-Swoop has.

 

What does everyone else think these toys gimmicks are?

I don't believe that S250 got the Dinobots. A lot of those images he posts are from foreign auctions for early toys, he did, however get a number of the gestalt parts, including Storm Jet. According to him, somebody else got to the Dinobots before him.

 

From looking at the pictures, it is nearly certain that Grimlock is a combiner in the same way as the other Autobot deluxes, plus he seems to have other combining provisions, so I bet that he and Swoop have a Powerlinx mode to themselves. That is the one reason I can guess as to why the two will be sold together.

Of all the things he could possibly be, 5x combiner is not one of them.

 

Grimlock is roughly deluxe-sized. No combiner pegs on him to be seen.

 

And then there's the fact that they're both included in a two-pack, which pretty clearly defies the usual packaging scheme for such things, and makes no sense should that be true.

 

I'm sure Grimlock and Swoop can combine together in their own way, and that's it.

I'm not sure if those two are even of Energon, I thought those two were Robot Masters prototypes.

some one else covered the gustalt issue with grimlock and swoop.

 

It was noticed that grimlock had a hidden face at the back end of the character.

 

It was agreed that grimlock and swoop cmbine to make a bigger robot.

they are certainly not Robot Master figires, as we rarely see japanese protos and RMs is all about G1 and BW

these two new figures resemble their G1 counterpart a bit, but look not 100% like them (and the G1 dinos could not combine either)

all I can say is, I'm definitely getting them when they come out. They're a 2-pack, correct? When will they be released?

considering most of us still havnt seen figures like shockblast and downshift, i dont expect them anytime soon :(
