if alts are linked to g1 is dibateable binaltech seems to have tie-ins with the cosmic rust thing but alts are just a new toy line so g1 links are not oiffical yet but most fans dont not mind

one of the far out rumors is that DW will write them into the g1 comic

Actually they allready have put them in the G1 comic just not in the way your thinking. Don said he was going to incorporat the Alternator's transformation to keep from have to make a better one from the old mode (like Starscream) to make it look more cartoon acurate. In fact both MP Prime (see issue one of Vol. 3) and Alternator Silverstreak have shown up (look at Silverstreaks face in Issue 6 vol. 3 deffenently the Alternatior). Buy the way on topic love the blue :thumb

The interview with the guy who designed BT Smokescreen, Lambor and MP Convoy

English translation of the interview (third post down), with the Engrish being kept to a minimum

It took three years (!) to finish Convoy... Now talking about the Hasbro poll...

Interesting insights into the development of BT and MP Convoy. The reasons that some of the car companies gave when they refused to give the licencse for their cars are absolutely laughable. I can't believe they thought people would get the idea that their cars were broken.

Still think the blue looks 20x better. Yellow plastic looks cheap to me.
