new Blue Tracks Pics

Recommended Posts

if alts are linked to g1 is dibateable binaltech seems to have tie-ins with the cosmic rust thing but alts are just a new toy line so g1 links are not oiffical yet but most fans dont not mind

one of the far out rumors is that DW will write them into the g1 comic

And that has what exactly to do with what Quickshift said?!?

IMO the tracks mold is the best binaltech/alt yet at least from the pictures ive seen which is all i and most of us have, but the poseability and the overall look just make it that much better. About the blue tracks though as much as i want to believe its true, im not going to be 100% sure until i see it in my very hands or at least on store shelves. I remember a while back when those first pictures surfaced in one of the old previews that were quickly shot down by none other than hasboro reps themselves saying that tracks would only be released in yellow and that the blue was a mistake. I can only hope that they changed their mind on this and that we will eventually get both in due time...

"A while ago" was just two weeks ago.

I doubt they changed their minds in that short time span and instantly commissioned a blue version which just happened to leak in no time...

I rather think whoever insisted "Tracks will be yellow" simply didn't know about that blue version yet. :)

yeah , well hasbro said themselves that their would be recolours, but i would prefer it if the blue or yellow had some remoulds on it. i love the slight differences between smokes and silverstreak, really adds to the mould and line. but from what i can see the blue and yellow tracks is simply different colours. any opinions?

...of course there are!!!

personally im really looking forward to the rx8 mould!

A while ago, two weeks ago, whatever it was in the last month. I'm still speculative about the blue tracks though. I hope if hes real, hes not only an alternator release and that he comes out in binal tech form as well. The die cast versions just look that much better when displayed.

But unlike Smokescreen and Silverstreak which are two different characters, the vettes will both be Tracks....Hasbro probably made two version so as to please Chevrolet as it was assumed wanted the yellow and they made the blue version to please fans who think Tracks should be blue….so there really is no need for a remold between the two vettes....just get the one you like.

BTW I do agree with above comments about Alt. Tracks looking like a not-as-cool version of RiD Prowl. One of the coolest things about Prowl was how they tucked away all the kibble in the back (doors aside). If you look at Alt. Tracks from behind, all you see is Corvette sheet metal. Bleah. When you consider the articulation that RiD Prowl had, and at 2/3 the size... Tracks just doesn't look all that impressive to me. IMO Smokescreen is still the best in terms of illustrating the potential of the Alternators line. I think it's obvious by this point that Has/Tak wanted to kick off the line with their best figure, in order to ensure the greatest "wow" factor among the fans. I only hope that they do a good job with the Mustang -- I'm still hoping for that to be Wheeljack.

The originally intended "first toy" of the BT/Alt line was actually supposed to be a German sports car (most probably a Porsche), curiously enough. :)
