Blitzwing looks to be a Juggernaut type character. I can deal with that.

It would be cool if they managed to tie in the WWI series into IDW's continuity instead. DW's continuity would be too much to continue on considering all the loose ends they left (Unicron's arrival, Megatron's takeover, Bumblebee quitting the Autobots, Quintessons' sleeper agents, yada yada), not to mention it would feel severely rushed, unless they plan to continue on with it and consider it as their "classic G1" universe.

I could deal with G1 classic AND G1 redux.

I believe the Seekers are based off of F-22s

They're blowing up anything that their target had contact with. That's the bus from issue 0, and the moble home I believe is where the guy that took the photos was staying.

I'd just say they're eradicating any possible evidence of their existence. You know anywhere that guy went and could have left behind evidence; diary entries, back up copies etc.

I thought it was Skywarp teleporting and Blitzwing just follows thru.

 

And Blitzwing looks to have a Jet mode of a MiG-31 Foxhound

which is the successor to the MiG-25 Foxbat, Blitzwings old jet mode.

 

The Tank, maybe a LeClaire Battle Tank (french) is my bet, its one of the newer MBTs regardless, thankfully its not an Abrams (been done enough imo)
