gr8 find

the jet that clearly combines looks quite nice

swoop and grime rock i must have them both

Wow, well its an autobot and if you look at his chest in robot form in one of the pics, its looks like an upslide down larger TF head.

I wonder what his size is? Maybe someone should ask that guy. I will I guess I've talked to him before about items he's sold. If he's as tall as Starscream, then it must be a deluxe.

Yikes! I wasn't expecting these protos for quite some time. That's an awesome find. Can't wait to see the rest of the team *wonders how many there are*

You can clearly see the connection plugs (looking similar to Inferno's cannon mount, which should work quite nicely, actually, as long as they're designed properly for adequate friction) on his arms, and inside his knees. Looks to be Scramble-city type, with 5-member teams (the blue Decepticon steamshovel would be the Decepticon counterpart, indicated by the fact that he has similar plugs. Two dueling Gestalts. But now with the head in this guy's chest, we know for sure that the plugs are for Gestalt combinations, and not for some other gimmick). The A10-esque plane proto we saw earlier is probably another member of this team, because he had a suspicious looking socket behind the roosterpit that looks like it could fit on the plugs here quite nicely. There was only one plug on that, and it certainly didn't look like it'd split in half, so we've probably got full 5 member Gestalts.

And BTW, I can't take any of the credit. I'm just relaying information :).

[edit] and Blitz, you have to get both if you want one :P. They've been listed as a two-pack for a long time now in various store computers.

Wow! @_@ I didn't see the link for the Swoop and Grimlock. Super nice.

Swoop looks awesome in both modes. I hope Grimlock though gets a much better paint job!

Grilock looks alike he went through the "Tonka Gobots-O-Matic" machine and came out a bit SD.

Swoop, aprt from the blue, really does look like a kind of Dino-Bot seeker (like they said at the other board). His face reminds me of Terrasaur, which probably is no coincidence. Hope they can combine..then I would understand Grimmy having short legs and big arms.

I am sure that poor grimmy's shoulders are mean to be raised. That would make him rock. But his dino mode is pure G1 goodness, he is a must buy for me and I'll preorder him.

That autobot jet combiner looks amazing, it looks to be very articulated and a great figure in and of itself.. hopefully the combined gestalt will be just as impressive.

I am sure that poor grimmy's shoulders are mean to be raised. That would make him rock. But his dino mode is pure G1 goodness, he is a must buy for me and I'll preorder him.

Yup, they can be raised. Just look at the hinges. They're almost the same as with OpOp, so there's no trouble there. Oh, and it seems he has G1 style wings. From what I can see, he has pegs that connect his head part to the torso part, so his head folds down and his wings split apart. But there doesn't seem to have a midsection. Bummer. :tdown Oh, AND it looks like Swoop can at least combine to his back, since it's so flat. But I don't care if all I said was wrong! He WILL be mine! :tfevil :tfevil :tfevil
