Spydar Posted on Jul 3 2004, 12:02 AM Very nice, I use that same transformation for sideswipes legs as well, that way his knees actualy work!

With Red alert, it didn't look uniform or coordinated with the regular transformation since only the chest was white and everything else was black. And I didn't want to paint the black part of the legs white. So changing the leg transformation worked out better. I had to tweak the ankles a bit (i.e. shave some of the plastic off) for him to stand correctly.

fortune78 Posted on Jul 3 2004, 07:49 PM That's awesome, great job man!!!! Where did you get the lights for Prowl?

I got it from this 1:24 scale LAPD police car I bought from my local hobby shop. It was only 9 bucks so I didn't mind yanking the lights off. They actually sold the lights separately for 10 bucks. Go figure.

Currently, I'm trying to kitbash a Nissan R390GT1 race car (using the shell) and an alternator side swipe body to make an Alternator G1 Wheeljack. If it turns out right, I'll post it here.

Sounds very cool, I hope it works out....so good luck man. :thumb

That sounds neat. I can't wait to see it. I just wish they would make a Silverado (my vehicle) into an alternator or at least a transformer of some sort. If I could find a model of one I may try after finding out how you do on the Nissan
