Me, it reminds me of when I was a kid, and spent hours with my friends playing with them.

And now its a great way to forget about how crapy your day was and just get lost in Cybertron. :tflaugh

And yes I do I spread em out all over the livingroom floor and have battles. :tfgrin

Well, in my house, my bro and sis were really into transformers. I was born about the time the movie came out, so there were already dozens in my house. I got into them through my bro and sis, and got hooked on the cartoon. I always loved playing with TF's because it was like getting 3 toys. A puzzle, an action figure, and a vehicle. I love my TF's, but I have no where to keep them all on display, so my past series have to stay kooped up in bins :(

it all started with a career in customer service and a desk to put stuff on and nothing to do for eight hours while I was there so one day I cleaned out my closet at home and found a G1 hoist and from there it escallated into a full blown battle on my desk at work thank god for customer service positions that have nothing to do with providing customer service :thumb

TF to me is the ultimate display of creativity, good vs evil, and destruction. The imagination that conceived this concept is somethin' else. Many TF have very complex changes and I wouldn't know where to begin the invention process. EX. Sideburn, Prowl, X-Brawn. Very complex. The most basic concept in story telling is good vs evil but with decepticons (G1)there is no remorse of any kind. They (to me anyways) are ruthless and malevolent, making em the baddest baddies. The destuction is clear in the movie, Many fan favs were shown destroyed giving a dark twist to the whole show. G1 wasn't the only show to depict great ends to characters. Dinobot and Armada Starscream were portrayed excellently.

for the money they cost its good value even for the bricks

the cartoons are pritty good seeing as there are far worse

plus theres the whole good vs evil stuff

plus i love BF robots

Like a lot people my age nostalgia is what brought be back to Transformers, I don’t play with my transformers….for the most part they just sit there….though I do transform them every so often.

I like the Politics. To me the Autobots are FAR from whihter than white and reverse for the Cons. That trend was expanded in BW were the cons were treated as second class citizins. ML with starscream and Super Megatron. and SL with Ironhide(Demolisher), Alpha Q, and Rodimus.

:pfx What he said....

Altho BW was the first series I ever saw, RiD is what really got me into it. I loved watching it Every saturday morning and laughing with my Little Brother. I also loved how much personnality each TF had and I also liked how the G1 had alot of the Voice overs from my other favorite show.

I love them for nostalgia and looks and the fact I really need something in hands to fiddle with most of the time.
