Is it worth keeping the boxes to the energon figures. I don't know if I have enough room. But how many of you keep the boxes for your transformers.

Keep the boxes if you plan on storing the figures in the future. The boxes make storage much easier (if you have the space). Outside of storage, I only keep the boxes if the box art is cool.

for Energon I throw away the bubbles from Basic and Deluxe cards, I also throw away plastic inserts in the boxes, the biggest box generally is used as a container for the cards and smaller, folded boxes

same for Armada, RID and BM

Japanese packages dont get harmed at all

:pfx And also if you ever plan to sell them, having the box and everything makes the bot a little more pricey because of being complete :thumb

So the inside of the box is worth tossing. But what about the boxes that are on like E Hot shot. When I open them I tear the paper. are those worth keeping

Sure, if you tape them up nicely. It makes selling them easier because you have the original packaging as if it came from the store.

use a knife/cutter to cut the bubble from the card, but only cut in the plastic

One last thing the inside of the mega boxes like Landmine. Should I only keep the box or the inside part that the figure is attatched to. :thumb

Keep the box and everything in it. I made the mistake of throwing out the bubbles and the styrofoam and only keeping the box itself back in the '80s. Now, I wish I had had kept everthing.

If you don't have the room, throw them away - unless you like the box art or something. The reason the G1 stuff is worth so much more with even open packaging is that in the 80s no one realized they were going to be collectible. Now, so many people keep Transformers from the newer lines MISB that an opened toy is never going to be worth nearly as much, even if it comes complete with the original packaging.
