G2 Megs beat Prime to a pulp... and then helped him defeat the second generation Cybertronians and the swarm. He cool :)

Seeing aas how ive never seen an Energon or Cybertron episode I have no idea how bad-ass Energon Megatron was but gotta admit that BW/BM MEgs was a sweet character.

 

As for Energon Megatrons Alt-mode it reminds me of a Klingon War Bird/ Romulan Bird of Prey hybrid

But TFTM Megatron did kill/help kill Optimus Prime, Ironhide, Brawn, and Ratchet, as well as destroy a giant fortress.

 

 

While it's nifty/neat that E. Megatron made Scorponok his Starscream and he did some cool stuff to Shockblast and Inferno. I just don't know if I can really say he's a badass. But that's just me. I think it's the fact that I just really disliked Energon as a series and that taints any possible feelings of a possible good Megatron in that series to me. But his Galvatron Repaint was kickass homage city awesome nice!

You forgot he pulled Hotshot's arms off like an evil kid torturing an ant. He stomped on Sixshot and grinded his foot on his body. He Mind F'D Starscream and made him blindly loyal. I was seriously scared of that Megs. G1 Megs let Starscream shoot him in the first 3 eps and let him live for over 50 more eps. to be fair, it wasn't his fault. You couldn't randomly kill guys on a kids toon back then.

 

meh, movie megs will have no problem beating him. in the prequel comics we've already seen him rip BB's arm off as well as crushing his voice capacitor beyond repair for being a smart ass. in the movie

he rips jazz in half and eats his Powerglideing spark

, and thats not including what (if anything) he does to humans.

I find it funny, and a bit frightening that you're actually telling the truth about Movie Megatron. I didn't look at it that way at first, but seeing it said... it's pretty creepy.

I always looked at E. Megs as Galvatron anyway, since he looked like Galvy from the start, and in Japan was Galvy from the start. As for the alt-mode, Seems like the best way to describe it would be if Unicron decided to merge G1 Galvatron & G1 Cyclonus into one being :thumb

Very true.

 

That is what I liked about that mold and the Galvatron repaint is just perfect. Cybertron Megatron was a huge dissapointment after that figure.

The E Mega/Galvatron toy always felt like a Thunderwing homage to me, looks-wise.

I know that he was a jet but was he a cybetron jet or a cross between earth and cybertron? I also know he was changed by being asorbed into Unicron.

 

On a side note, IMO he happens to be the most evil/ruthless/badass Megatron ever brought to any screen including the new movie that hasn't been released yet. What he did to Hot Shot, Starscream, Scorpnock, Shockwave and Sixshot was the best I've ever seen of any Megs and I don't think that the new movie verison will do any better.

 

Are you serious? I'm still trying to figure out what E. Optimus Prime is supposed to be. It's certainly not much of a "disguise" when your arms are hanging out in the back like that, and no truck in existence is THAT ugly. So what the hell is it?
