New 'Robot Replica' Bumblebee, More Prime Images

oh yeah I also think Frenzy will benefit from this type of representation

He's still going to look like a stick bug on crack. I fail to see how not having a stereo strapped to his back is going to be a huge improvement.

If possible, they should've included a second head for Bumblebee with the mask on. I want a bumblebee with mask ><

In any case, might have to get that Prime. :<

Shorter than Protoform Prime? Those little bastards better be no more than $7.

I agree.

At first i wasn't too sure cause of the whole "no transform/no buy" rule. But now, They look better. Good translation of the CGI bot mode, so I'll at least pick up these 2. The others, well not too sure, maybe Megatron. But if you get Bumblebee, you sort of need Barricade.

Damnit Hasbro. I'm only one man. :redface

Never has Yogurt's statement, "Merchandising, merchandising! Where the real money from the movie is made!" been more true than with this Transformers movie.

:tflaugh oh please, like this is anything new

especially considering that Spaceballs was satirizing Star Wars

Yeah, but this one is actually owned by a toy company. As far as toys go though, Star Wars is pretty limited. They got their regular figures, some Unleashed, a few with some action features, and vehicles. That's all. Transformers has these figures, legends, FABs, cyber-stompers, Titaniums, Unleashed, basics, deluxes, voyagers and leader class toys, not to mention Ultimate Bumblebee. Then there are the parasitic toys like Robot Heroes, which are cool but only exist because of the movie. Just on the toy front, there is a lot of merchandise.

The whole concept of the movie is based on a toy brand at the end of the day.
