They were never meant to be that (until DW came along and decided to please fembots fanboys like ourselves with them). Then we have to think about the 'bot's size and vehicular form. Its hard to make them "girly" when they're that small.

Well just making something up just to please the fanboys doesn't cut it. Either do it right, or not at all. Arcee was done right, as was Blackarachnia. Besides, its hard to make a military buggy and a 4x4 truck 'girly' also. A sleek sportscar, or jet I can see. But not an offroad vehicle...

You know? I agree with you. Some of the newest TFs are close to the originals, but it frustrates me they don't have the same names. I like Takara's G1 repaints because they have a "something" that the Universe repaints don't have (besides tech Specs/Bios). And that is what make a TF special for me. I don't complaint much about DW's choices for fembots, due to the design. But as you've said, maybe they should had tried harder. Anyway, good to see so many "Mini-Femes" here! :clap
