Attention All Australian Fans

Hey guys - with the movie slated to come out here on June 28, dirge and I thought that it'd be a really neat idea if we could amass as many Transfans together to fill a cinema here in Sydney! :)

I currently don't know which cinema(s) are offering midnight sessions, but before contacting cinemas it'd be a good idea to get an idea of numbers.

So yeah, if you think you'd be interested in attending a midnight session to watch the Transformers movie on June 28 (a Thursday) then please LMK by replying either on this thread or its equivalent on the OzFormers or TAAU board (just one reply per customer will do).

After I do a basic head count, I will then contact cinemas and see which ones are planning or would be willing to offer a midnight session for Transformers on June 28.

The cinema of choice will be a reasonably central location to make it convenient for most people to get to. My personal preferences (in preferential order) are:

1/ Fox Studios - a brief drive/bus ride from Central station (although being a late screening, you should at least arrange for a lift after the screening as buses/trains may not be running after 2am)

2/ Greater Union, George St (very easy location)

3/ Reading Cinema, Market City (again, very easy location)

And just to show everyone that we are Transfans, I would recommend that everyone treat this like attending a Fan Meet or convention - wear TF clothing (or better yet, cosplay) and bring along a TF toy as your personal mascot!! :D This should be a night where we can be loud and proud of our Transfandom!

I hope to see as many of you there as possible!! :D
