I hope it's for a trailer. Possibly he's meant to pull Energon Ultra Magnus? It would be cool for him to have something to combine with to become Rodimus Prime.

I tried that last night, Magnus's "trailer hitch" is a bit fatter then Rodimus's "clamps" and does not fit well. :tfmad

maybe it can pull E primes trailer? i dont know as i dont have E prime

If you notice in the 1st Energon Comic, while Prime is looking over the city you'll see Rodimus pulling a blue trailor. That and several other cameos. SO my guess is he'll have a trailor issued.... :tfgrin

Look closer, that's just some generic looking truck with a teeny cab following Rodimus as opposed to being towed. I wish I was wrong, but I've checked and re-checked and it ain't in tow. :tfsad If however they tie this in with something else down the line, I will be ecstatic! A nice flaming trailer-base would be swanky! However, this is all just wishful thinking and it would be strongly recommended that one not take this hitch with too much seriousness until oddities show up on eBay.

i know this is probley dead and buried, but rodimus can pull energon ultra magnus. i was playing with them earlier. just wanted to throw this out there sense no one ever had an actual answer. the peg on his wing goes in the same hole that knock outs peg goes into.

He'd be off-centered, though...

all I know is that he has returned!!!yay!!!my second favorite G1 character!!

even though I never watched G1 cuz I wasn't even born yet!!!

So far I think this Rodimus isn't as headstrong as his G1 predecessor which is a good thing to see. I can't wait to see how he does in the Energon comics!

can't wait to find out just got me rodiums today :tfgrin
