all i'm saying is i elaborated on a character and his persona. i said nothing scene-specific. i know some of the scenes he's in and what he does in them though, such as

he fights a lot in jet mode and the older script didnt have him doing much fighting. oh and he's afraid of Megatron coming back. Pete's not gonna read this either i bet

I'm a bit concerned about Frenzy, since he seems to not even be "large". But as long as he isn't in the movie too much, I should be okay. Scorponok is questionable too.

Frenzy is cool, gotta have a slinky spy

And I'm pretty sure Scorpy is effing huge

A disappointment? Hmmm, not really. Thus far Bay's delivered in what little expectation I've had since the rumours developed two years ago. The Transformers are from Cybertron arrive on Earth in seperate factions & wage there war. To add to it enough familiar characters have been scripted in for this to feel like a ligitimate Transformers move, and they transform into various vehicles. The fact we're getting Peter Cullen as Prime is something I personally believed would never happen but it did so in that sense my expectations have already been exceeded. Icing on the cake for me has been having a darker more adult approach to the material, inventive alt modes designs of each of the characters, epic action/battle sequences, & lastly an epic score provided by the same composer of Bay's The Island opposed to whatever crappy emo bands are out today. That considered I don't see Transformers being disappointment in any shape or form. It may not be the best/smartest movie ever made & considering the Island though it preformed poorly was still a decent movie I don't see TFs being any better or worse.

Unlike some people I really like the idea of the franchise finally growing up & in good recovery of it's 4+ how many years of anime inflince inflicted upon North American culture. Feels strange saying that after being a fan of R/A/E/C for so long. Don't hate it & LIKE G1 I enjoy it for what it is but FINALLY Hasbro's doing something altogether different with the franchise & going in a direction that hasn't been attempted since the BW?BM fall out & I for one think it's long over due.

I have no problem with Prime having flames/a mouth, Bumblebee not having a face, Starscream being an ape or Megatron being a Gyver (Whatever the hell that is.) Transformer have been changing from one design asthetic to the next in the course of over 20 years. I'm not sure what makes G1 so definitive but seeing as we've gone from that BW/BM to RID throug A/E/C I honestly don't see this being any different . Transformers are evolving, they always have & always will. Nothing's really changed in the approach it's just that some think it has because there totally unaccustomed to excepting change from what has been to what is now.

We all wont be happy, but whats all this crying about If you dont like how they made it dont go watch it, im a huge G-1 fan and I know they dont look like the cartoon but im excited about the movie, so stop all the waaa waaa till you actually see the movie. :slap

From the few clips/trailers and shots I could see about the autobots/transformers, they don't look anything like the real transformers at all. That's utterly disapoointing and I can't understand what more is the fuss about this movie and it totally will anger some real Transformers die hard fans. I mean come on, look at how Starscream is shaped.

When July 4th comes around, why dont you watch the 1986 movie instead. The rest of us will be in the other theatre watching this movie called "transformers" word on the street is that it has giant robots, so that should be cool. When you're ready to join us, we'll be sitting in the Glad-we-got-anything section.

I AM PUMPED BEYOND REDEMPTION.

fyi.

i'm excited for the movie...i actually really want to see it. Ironhide just looks so badass and awesome!
