Well, my computer can't type Japanese. And I can't speak or read it either. I just took a photoshoped reissue wheelie and used it as fodder to build those reissue fronts. Is there a way to get my computer to take english text and switch it to Japanese?

Hrmmm, your best bet is to use an Altavista Babblefish translation, or something similar. Of course, you will need to have Japanese fonts installed on your computer or you will only see boxes.

Well, my real question is, where'd you get that DW Galvy pic from? It's droolicious.

I got the pic from MTMTE profile books with a scanner. Galvatron is in issue #2. Yeah, I got that one. :D

keep in mind that the Takara reissues are going off of the characters that were popular in -Japan-. Apparently, the insecticons were fairly popular in Japan both as Insector-Robo diaclones and the Transformers Insecticons. They didn't fare as well in the US. Ironically, the Dinobots, which were very popular in the US, didn't do so well in Japan.

 

It looks like they've modified the insecticons slightly for the reissue so that all three guns can attach to bombshell, which means they would have to make alterations to the guns and the arms on each insecticon. This feature is not present on the originals.
