Being as I have all the original insecticons, they still aren't cool.  No one wanted them back in the day, but people will bust a nut for a re-issue now.  Go figure.

SERIOUSLY! I'm convinced that 80% of all Insecticons sold were Christmas presents from kids' moms ("You like Transformers, right?").

Hay guys I feel in the miority here. I loved the Insecticons and have been trying to win them in there original boxes for some time now. They were some of my favorites as a kid and am so happy they are being reissued :clap . Did think giant insects on the cartoon was kinda dumb, but then again were robotic dino's :tflaugh1 . I can't wait, O and I never had any of the deluxes, maybe I should buy one to see what they are like. :thumb I do have a strong feeling that these are going to be pricy (like Optimus Prime and Megatron), as they are bigger than the mini bots. Well who knows time will tell.

Already got them, but I wouldn't mind picking up the reissues since my kickback has seen better days. Plus the energon cubes :thumb Not bad, not bad.

They may not be the best choices but still, they have never been reissued before and it's even cooler that Takara made them into a 3-pack. I suspect that Takara's deliberately timing the Insecticons at around the same time the new story arc of G1 Ongoing's "Plague of the Insecticons" will have very much started. Maybe the storyline of turning these guys into the new arc's major baddies could shift some of you Insecticon-haters to Takara's side.

I really want to get my hands on a G2 Megatron tank. Yes Madhammer, I have been swayed. The toy looks so friggin' cool. Nothing says kick-ass like a big ole tank!

I am thrilled they are bringing these guys out! They brought a whole new dimension to the G1 cartoon as practically being a third Transformers faction. Can't wait to get at least one box set, possibly more to make a plague of insecticons.

Yeah, I know. I have my own lists of what I really want to be reissued, and the Insecticons aren't really one of them. But still, at least they're new molds, and I don't really have any beef regarding those who don't like them. To each his own. In fact, I wish their alternate modes could have been a little more convincing as insects. And regarding the molds, we would never really know what can or can't be reissued. I know that some of them are next to impossible like Jetfire, but let's look at the bright side, who knows anyway? And it's a good thing Takara's not really interested in releasing every single Seeker unlike Hasbro.

Well, I *am* an Insecticon hater, and proud of it. They were some of the most boring characters in all of G1 (and that's saying something). They were good for absolutely nothing, except for double-crossing Megatron (which they did EVERY time they appeared). And as for the toys.... well, as I said they completely paled in comparison to the deluxe Insecticons.

All I can say is Wunderbar!! The insecticons are pimptastic, and I loooooooooooooooove those energon cubes. This had better come to america with the cubes are someone is feeling my wrath!
