Transformers Evolutions: Ex Machina III

wow i though they were big but not as huge as they seem put next to cybertron galvatron like that

There's no other way to make them look good. I made a transforming robot that's a cross between a TF and a MS.

I have a basic frame that I like to use for my Lego Tfs and robots.

Well actually...I have seen some great models at smaller scales. Mine are actually this big because I'm working to scale with Lego Technic figures, about two/three times bigger than normal minifig scale. And, obviously, Megatron has to be bigger than Screamer!

Got any pics of you models? I'd be interested to see them.

And on the subject of basic frames, I don't! I build off the cuff, designing each model in and of itself. I have 'standard' building tricks and roughly the same joints for roughly the same body parts but otherwise every model has its own, individual structure (unless I'm cloning, of course).

And now, as promised, Autobots:

Nightbeat

Before the war, Nightbeat was an investiagtor for hire with a reputation for coming out on top whatever the situation. Said reputation led to the Autobot army enlisting him to help them fight off the Decepticons' vastly superior espionage divisions. He rapidly proved more than a match for the opposition.

Now head of a loosely organised but extremely efficient network of infiltraitors and double agents, he is considered a necessary evil by some of those in above him in the command structure - they disaprove of his methods but cannot question his results. Actively and deeply involved in field work, his investigations have recently drawn him to a certain blue and green planet, one that is increasingly the centre of Decepticon attention...

Details to follow!

I'll try to upload some photos. I only have one current together since I re-use the same frame (it uses aton of those ratchet joints and I only have a limited number). If I feel like making something else that transforms or has a high range of movement I'll post pics of the frame

I'll look forward to it!

Siren

You would be forgiven for thinking Siren completely unsuitable for undercover work. Indeed, the overbearing, thunderous mech was assigned to Nightbeat by members of the governing council unhappy with the spymaster's growing influence. They were somewhat annoyed when Siren 'defected' to become one of his most trusted associates.

The backup for agents in the field, Siren is often called upon to extract them if their missions are comprimised, charging in, sonic screamer cannon blasting holes through anything in the way. Doggedly loyal to the famous detective, he is only too eager to follow him into the battle on Earth.

:D

you should put a stealth skill on your bio stats.

Here's a teaser to mysuper robot MS/TF

It's name is "Dark Sun"

You'll see why after pics

Stealth stats, eh? Heh. I'd have to score it in negative numbers!

One more for the road:

Cypher

"No firewall too high, no encryption too deep."

An arrogant but skilled neutral hacker, in the sense that she'll steal information from both sides without hesitation, Cypher first crossed paths with Nightbeat when he arrested her. To the young femme's surprise, the detective offered her a deal: freedom and employment in exchange for assistance. Since then, she has acted in an 'advisory capacity' to Nighbeat's section, digging up information that would be beyond the reach of Autobot agents...for a price.

Caught up in the battle on Earth, a battle she is neither willing nor equipped to fight, she is now seriously considering cutting her losses and running for the hills, making her an unstable ally at best.

Before any one asks, quite a few of those pieces are Megablocks.

Decepticon reinforcements next...

Now, I'm going to try and work out how to fix Blitzwing's wings on...grrr...!

:D

kinda reminds me of MP-05 since his legs are kinda thin with big feet

no Hosehead?

btw i would have used siren's face on nightbeat and viceversa because i think nightbeat looks better with the goggles, kinda like shades and adds to the 1950's detective thing

Her legs! Yeah, I suppose so. But she's at least stable with slightly oversized toes!

As deft as I try to be with storylines, even I can't justify a fire engine being asigned for covert ops. Plus which, I just didn't feel like building him!

And I personally prefer the faces the way round they are. *shrugs* That's just me. :tfgrin

Now for something completely different:

Rumble and Backbeat

Little more than simple thugs, these two are deployed to remove the more troublesome opposition to Soundwave's authority. Those who stand in the communicator's path often find themsleves trapped between earthquakes and balistic sonics as the small but dangerous mechs enact their master's will. Disliked among the Decepticon ranks for their punkish attitudes, they evoke even worse feelings among the Autobots, many of whom have been on the receiving end of their unexpectedly powerful assaults.

Blitzwing's done at last, so expect him over the next few days...

Blitzwing

"Destroy first, think later."

One of the Decepticons aboard the Nemesis when it crashed, Blitzwing has only recently been located and revived. His body had been stored at a human government facility, one he took very great pleasure in tearing apart soon after his reawakening.

A tremdeously strong loudmouth, he is primarily employed when a target needs to be destroyed quickly and completely, particularly when a simple air raid will not be effective. Despite his beligenace, he is popular with the rank and file and considered a key asset by those above him.

Happy Easter!
