I meant in relation to the horns (infront of or behind) so I left them where they were to prevent worries they might get broken off too easily. Not that I plan on separating the 5 of them any time soon.

I was talking about their vertical position on the head. Also, there are ways to re-enforce them so they won't break off. You use a pin (a small nail would be best) that runs through the head wall into the inside of the ear. The head of the nail secured to the inside wall of the head acts to firmly anchor the ear in place.

 

Considered it the ears are too thin for that to work. Also keeping them at the exact same height when remounting them would be a nightmare. One that if not necessary such as is the case with wheels on a vehicle mode I'm not willing to go through. I'm happy with the way this monster turned out, and I've moved on to my next combiner set Defensor.
