Atleast if the kids are still in the series they'll be older, and hopefully less annoying. They could play the role of Earth's Defense people like Melissa Fairborn (Was that her name?) from the original series.

I would expect the Omnicons/minicons to become armor or weapons like others have predicted, and I would love for a continuation of the combiner theme.

With any luck, the alternate modes will be more Cybertronian in nature and may be a good opportunity to pull in some War Within and Transtech inspired toys.

No matter what happens, I'm sure we'll get an agreeable line of toys. The last few years have been chock full of awesome Transformers, with a few exceptions from Armada :D

Idea for a new gimmick: a transformer that won't let the kids play with it until all their homework and chores are done. Might not be too popular with the kids, but the parents will love it to pieces. :D

i like the idea of battle aror and the return of real gesaults (not powerlinking), and the idea of the return of target/head/powermasters. and we can only hope for primus, but from the recent e-mail i sent to hasbro, im not thinking it will be anytime soon.

Since the start of Armada here are the gimmicks that have been used, even if sparingly

Sound activated noises

Minicons

Headmasters (sideways, Omega Supreme)

Targetmasters (Armada Megs, and Bendy Primes Minicons)

Combining(Energon, Armada Prime)

Powerranging (Energon Prime)

Battle Armor (Landmine, Bulkhead)

Auto Transformation (Armada Prime)

So I think that Hastak is testing the waters, seeing which gimmick sells better, other then the original line. I personally, and I know alot of you dont share this idea, but I would love to see resurected Pretenders. Of course update them, or make them the battle armore. I just feel that with a cyberton base for the show it might lead to some pretty interesting pretenders. But that is just me.
