** Shockwave dies in TF:TM **

I say, if you didn't see them dead in the movie, and they weren't stated as dead in the 3rd season, then 'logically' they may still be alive, and that's the speculation for all the fanboys and fangirls out there :thumb

:pfx that's how I look at it

Sorry to say this... but they "KILLED" Optimus Prime and brought him back... so death in Transformer land really doesn't mean much.

That's true...For instance, Starscreamer's Ghost. You can't "kill" a Transformer as long as they have a "spirit".

This still doesn't explain why Energon Ironhide can't be more like G1 Ironhide. You know, less annoying.

I Allso thought shockwave was grabed by unicron & tossed out into space... Sorta like how galvatron was thrown out unicrons whatever into space & got stuck on that planet. If thats true one could say the same about shockwave it just took em awhile to find his way back to cybertron is all ;)

& yea I gota agree, a tfs death does not really mean much... unless of corse they get melted in the smelting pits of unicron then they seem to be royaly screwed ;)

from what I've gathered, after saying SCRAMBLE!, shocky looks upward just quick enough to see unicrn's foot coming twords him.

but that never mde it into the final cut...

I always precieved that Unicron smashed the building he was in with his hand. Therefore he was dead. If he wasnt dead I would think he would have been on Char during the 5 faces of darkness. Plus though I may be wrong here in one of the season 3 episodes where they were in the Decepticon Crypt wasnt there a statue of one eye there???

I just re-watched the movie today, and nowhere does it show the Shockster getting smushed. Unicron attacks Cybertron first, then Shockwave yells "Scramble!" and then it cuts to the decepts attacing Unicron with Dirge, Thrust, and Ramjet getting 'smashed' in Uni's teeth, but we know they survived. As far as the content IN the movie, there is no proof anyone in the movie croaked except for *cough* Brawn *cough*, Prowl, Ratchet, Ironhide, Windcharger, Wheeljack, Optimus Prime, a sweep, and multiple Sharkticons as well as Kranix and a few 'unknowns' in the sharkticon pit and in Unicron's smelting pool/stomach. Now, in Dark Awakening, Huffer was also mentioned, but they stated the tomb was built for all of the Autobots lost in the Great War, so Huffer may have died later instead of in the assault on Autobot City. Now, in the Starscreams ghost episode, I could not see a statue of Shockwave anywhere. There were however statues of Megatron and Thundercracker as well as a few unknowns, as well as Starscream's feet which was all that was left of him after Galvatron vaporized him.

do you have pics?

Unfortunately no, my DVD software on the computer does not allow for screencaptures. However, i'm sure you can find the episode for download somewhere online
