I got my Rodimus yesterday and Rodimus is indeed cool but I still like WW Optimus Prime better. I thought it was weird that they choose not to use the chrome paint on Rodimus like they did on WW Optimus Prime for the exhaust.

I'd also like to mention, the original G1 Rodimus rifle looks awesome with Titanium Rod... but for him to actually physically hold it you'd need to either enlarge the fist hole or whittle down the peg on the rifle. :tdown

Took one of the clear rubber band thingies the toys come with to hold the G1 rifle on. Looks so much better than the dinky rifle he comes with :thumb

Okay... This'll probably be the last set of pictures I take unless I get any requests or anything.

So without further ado, I give you

Also - MatthewBot - i think you are the first one i have heard say something nice about T!T Soundwave.

Care to elaborate?

Everyone complains about his legs... The hip sockets are on sliding pegs. It seems at first like the pegs should be able to slide down, and then lock in place so he can stand (this would give him about an additional 1/4 inch of height). They do slide - but do not lock. Once I acepted that this was just how it is, I started liking him alot more. His calves have a few problems...they don't stay in place like I would like them to...but it just doesn't bother me, and it only takes a little effort to find the right position for him to stand. I will say that the singular greatest flaw is the sliding calf parts - the top of the bot is heavy, and the legs just don't want to hold the weight - but they will. I've been able to pose him without much difficulty - and when I get my house organized (I moved this weekend) I'll take some pictures of him and post them. Most of all, I like the piant appplication on Soundwave. The blue is very metallic and shiny, the cassette door is a great purple color, and the gold trimming is all metallic - it's all very aesthetically pleasing. He looks like a Decepticon should - menacing, dark and mysterious. Laserbeak is well done, and the batteries look nice too as weapons. Everthing is proportioned just right. Most suprising for me was the giant crotch - I thought I'd be bothered by it, but it really isn't that noticable to me. Unless I stare at it. I guess, all in all, I just really like this toy. *shrug*

I've never had a Soundwave before, so maybe I'm overly enamoured.

the gold matrix looks funny/odd.

It's the one that come with Anime Galvatron. It was all gold but I used a blue sharpie on one side to color the inside

i find i have more problem with the bottom sliding leg piece as opposed to the top piece (which i've found can be used to add stability to his poses, making him easier to pose). to fix the lower half all you gotta do is take a toothpick and break it to fit, theres a small lip on the edge that you can slip the toothpick in making it almost impossible to see, it's much like placing a stick in a window seal to keep the window open. it's not hard to get back out at all either (so long as you give yourself a little bit play, not much is required).

i love him too, but as i've said before, i'm very biased when it comes to SW.

Maybe I should just give in and buy it from Hasbrotoystore... (weeps)
