I like the grey, gut the green and yellow are not good colors to go with it.

if they made the energon parts the same as the green then it would be ok, but the yellow doesn't fit too well

damn you hasbro why couldn't you just do a g1 galvatron redeco unless they are reserving that for otfcc next year

2005 has already reported that this Galvatron (and the red Prime with black drones) are currently scheduled as some sort of store exclusive.

 

Which means we haven't seen the official Galvatron yet, but probably will at OTFCC.

I like the dark colors on Megs, but the day-glow green parts and yellow energon kills it for me.

I think these colors are how it SHOULD have been done the first time! I can't stand the soft, pastel sky blue and glow worm green trim on Megatron! They just don't say "BADASS" like these darker colors do! And the yellow even adds a kind of royal like quality to him as well. I would like to see this in the smaller, more affordable Takara version though. I can't justify spending 40 dollars TWICE, even if it is Big M himself!

You know it's funny -- having seen customs of E. Megatron painted as G1 Galvatron, I have to say that I really don't like it. I always thought that that would be really awesome, but the figure just looks *too* G1 in those colors, if that makes sense. It's like, ho-hum, it's G1. I actually think the normal E. Megs color scheme is really cool. Though I do agree with you about the "Mystery Machine" colors on him, bushdoggg; however, those colors are on the Takara version -- the American release has a darker blue and green.

I actually like it. Not as much as the original, but I think it's actually cool. We just need to change the Energon color, perhaps to Starscream's dark green color?
