So what's the purpose of making a hologram of a person if you're going to make it flicker and show that it's obviously not? That's stupid. It would only make sense for trailer purposes for us to go "OMG IT'S NOT A COPTER"

Along those lines of logic - you probably always wondered why the Autobots and Decepticon had alt modes with FACTIOIN STICKERS on them. Don't pay attention to me, I'm just an innocent car... with an alien robot allegiance decal ;)

Do you care for the movie at all? Not trying to be a dick, really I'm not.

But it seems like you are dissatisfied with a good bit, and that you kinda want to nit-pick at things.

The hologram could be not perfect technology and has the occassional glitch.

There could be a form of interference that disrupts it right at that moment.

It could be (as someone else said) for intimidation purposes.

Or, it could just be cause it looks neat.

:tflaugh I appreciate your observation, but I have nothing but praise for the film so far

I was just trying to figure out why, solely in concept, a hologram (being composed solely of light-and a light bee, if you're a Red Dwarf fan-would show two layers.

I just think there's a lot of talk without a lot of thinking. Please don't confuse my comments with disatisfaction of the movie.

I think the flicker is seen only by the audience, not by the story participants.

Which made me also think it could be trailer-only too.

robots in disguise :tftongue what i wanna know is who that human sized robot is, n if there were more inside the chopper before transforming. i guess i'll have to wait n see the movie :redface

How do you know it's Frenzy.

Becuase they explained what Frenzy is like in the video's on the Transformers movie website. And from that it's plain obvious that this is Frenzy.

It would make sense for the infiltrating decepticons to have human sized robots disguised as... humans!

which is what i think that Barricade's "powermaster" really is. those drones are probably mass-produced and the drone that becomes Frenzy will be the only one with a true alt-mode.
