Minnesota Sightings

Recommended Posts

Most places seem to be recovering from the holiday sellout. Targets now seem to be restocked nicely. They've had many of the pre-Allspark Deluxe figures, and some leaders. Of the new-wave stuff, I've seen the Allspark battles Legends-class figure two packs. Also seen the Screen battles sets. The Targets also seem to have finally gotten wave 2 of the Robot Heros movie figures, though I found those in early December at Walmart...

Speaking of Walmart, both of the ones I've visted lately (specifically the on in Bloomington) is still a barren wasteland.

The TRU in Fridley or whatever (the one by Northtown) still has absolutely nothing on shelves. Though one of the other TRUs actually did have some of the Allspark Deluxes. They had like five Landmines, and a Cliffjumper. Both figures I already had, sadly. They though also have quite a few Voyagers.

I've not seen any new Joes in a long time. I mean, the Targets recently did get new ones, but they're all Wave 3 stuff...dunno why. Where's the new figures, Hasbro?

no Allspark Deluxes yet in Mankato howver the new GI Joe comic packs were in, so i grabbed them.

Cool, do you recall which TRU has Landmine and Cliffjumper?

The one in the Southtown area. It's sort of by a Khols, I think. I've only been to that one a few times. I think it's one of the ones in Bloomington.

Bloomington Walmart still has...nothing. Fridley Walmart has not much of anything, although they did have the new FAB figures, minus Smokescreen.

Area Targets now have almost ALL the new stuff (minus new Voyagers and leaders, though they do have older voyagers and leaders) Richfield Target had Camshafts and Landmines. They also had a ton of wave 5 GI Joes, minus Destro. Bloomington Target had all 3 Deluxe Allspark figures.

Area Targets now have Allspark Voyagers. Went into the Fridley one on a whim, and saw Evac, 2x First-Strike Optimus, and an Offroad Ironhide (Which a kid was happily running off with). I only wanted Evac, so the two Primes are still there.

Also, Wave 4 carded Joes are hitting. Saw them in the same store. I'm glad, because this was the first I've seen of them, and I've already seen the wave 5s in stores over a month ago.

Well, I hate to triple post, but I was out at the Bloomington Walmart today. Basically since Christmas their toy section has been completely disassembled. It's still in a state of being rebuilt, but it's recovered much of itself by now. That said, they had a HUGE TF restock, although the only Allspark figures they had were the legends two packs. They also didn't have any Voyagers, and the leaders and Deluxes they had were all old-wave stuff. However, they now have (count 'em) twelve pegs for Deluxe tfs, and all 12 of them were overflowing. They had some '08 bees, and '74 Bees and just about anything and everything else you could want. They also had (I think) nine pegs of FAB figures, and actually DID have the newest repaints (Smokescreen, Ramjet, and the Ironhide and Prime repaints.)

Jeez, nobody else looking in MN?

Anyway, Nightwatch prime is pretty common now (at least at Targets. Seen him once or twice at Walmarts too.) The first one or two Waves of Allsparks are pretty common now, though I still haven't seen incinerator or Stockade. Those "Screen Battles" boxsets are pretty common as well. I just saw the capture of Bumblebee and Desert Attack at the Bloomington Walmart today, so they're making their rounds.

Haven't seen any new 'Joes in....forever.

I think I am the only person from Minnesota looking...ah well. I'll just keep talking to myself, then.

Went to the Walmart in Bloomington tonight. They have all the current Allspark Deluxe figures now, including; Camshaft, Landmine, Cliffjumper, Overcast, Jungle Bonecrusher, and Stockade. They also had a ton of '08 Bees, and got some of the older wave stuff (saw '74 Bee, some of the original Jazz, etc). Nothing really noteworthy for Leader or Voyager classes....the search still continues for Incinerator.
