question about superion

Recommended Posts

today i aquired a g1 silverbolt with no accesories. he's the only g1 arielbot that i have and now i want to have superion. are the ko limbs good enough to hold onto my silverbolt without breaking?

fixed to mean what i meqnt to type :redface

Confusing, do you have Superion or Silverbolt?

The ko's will work but I'd say your better off buying a real complete G1 Superion.

Got to say I tried to use defensor KO parts on official protectobots and they didnt fit the pegs were 2 big, the only part that did work was the gun.

KO Aerialbots will work as limbs, feet & fists, but the chestplate & head will not fit, as they are all slightly undersized. And as Bumblerod mentioned of sorts, the KO Protectobots are slightly oversized compared to the originals. The Stunticon/Technobot/Terrorcon limbs all appear 1:1, as is KO Motormaster, but the KO Hun-Grr in the "Dragon Fighter" KO set is way undersized along with undersized Abominus parts (but the pegs do fit regular for fists & feet). The other KO Abominus with the correct limbs & off-colors is 1:1, and the Combaticon & Constructicon sets are also 1:1

cheers that's what i wanted to know. i knew about defensor's part being bigger from trying to use a ko fist for him.

it's a shame the head and chest plate won't fit on originals. i was partly oRippersnappering on that as well.

is the quality of the ko superion's limbs any good?

is there a full review of this ko anywhere online?

Early KO's were of varying quality, the latest batch is Blot-poor.

Thad is spot on, they are chunky cheap ass plastic!!!

so it's worth looking for original arielbots over a cheap ko set for accessories and the other bots to create superion?

Definitely. You can buy a KO set as basically a display piece/filler, but you're still best off going for the actual toys for the most part, especially the aerialbots in comparison to their KO counterparts.
