Titanium Scourge

Recommended Posts

I picked him up yesterday from Target. You know, I was looking forward to this guy and all, but now that I have him, he's actually rather meh. For one, his joints are very floppy. He feels top heavy which makes him difficult to stand. And perhaps one of my biggest gripes, when I tried to transform him the first time, one of his legs popped off at the ball joint in the knee. It was an easy fix, but I mean, come on. That shouldn't happen if you design the toy right. I wasn't using excessive force or whatever, I was just turning the leg to the side! :tdown

Anyway, the alt mode isn't much better either. His shell "wings" clip into his legs and cover up all of him except for this big gaping hole on the underside. His shell feels very cheap, like the plastic would break if given the chance.

Overall, he gets two stars. One for nostalgia purposes, and one for attempt.

I think I'm going to post him in the End Cap. Anyone interested in a loose Titanium Scourge? I'll even throw in the packaging and whatnot if you need it.

I saw a returned Scourge in Walmart the other day. I'm scared now. He's on my X Mas list

Yea, I picked him up[ a few weeks back in NJ...

Decent figure. I agree about the nostalgia factor. The fig is kinda simple, but he's a shellformer...

The construction is borderline- cheap. But the paint apps are a nice touch. An updated pattern to a classic villian...

I only wish he had better articulation and came with a gun/ holes in his fists...

Looking forward to WW Megs and G1 Ultra Magnus...

Mine is great quality. I do agree that he could use a gun.

TFs with fu manchus are awesome all day.

playing with him when he's in alt mode is the most fun. I wish I had my magnus here with me so he could blast him, lol.

Bot mode still suxx the nutzz though.

Considering that the Star Wars versions of the Titaniums (and even the smaller TF 3" ones) are all meant to be display pieces... well yeah these guys aren't going to be as much fun to play with. They didn't come with display bases for no reason. JMO
