well the eyes will light-up of course... (with all that'd been done at this point not doing the eyes would be senseless..) and the drop-down visors as well.... and many more suprise about the head are coming ....

I think the most he ever did in the show was maybe grunt. I don't think he had any words. Other then Computron with G1 bots they jsut got dumber as they got bigger for some reason.

Metroplex spoke a few times in season three. In the 3 part starscream's ghost where he steals metroplex's eyes and another where metroplex is fighting trypticon and wins.

You know Build-A-Bear shops sell this voice box thing designed to go inside a teddybear. They have ones with pre-recorded voices/messages, and a blank one that's re-recordable. I've been thinking of utilising one somehow (in a home-made version of the new MP Prime base or something), sampling a line of dialogue from the show. But with a monster of this size, you could fit one inside easily.

yeah i have a chrismas ornament that does the same thing... the only viable sample i've got for metroplex is : "this planet is not big enought for the both of us !"

 

also here is a taste of things to come.... (note i dont know why but the eyes came out yellow in the picture while in reality they are bright red !!!)
