finally an update !!

 

i want to thank you guys for the great ideas and support !!!

well i have a new twist that will be incorporated into this project....

there will be 2 briges to enter autobot city (like in movie) but will retract just like in the movie as well ... press a button and voila !! it will automaticly be done !! guess all of that drinking this holiday paid off lol !!!

 

and yes i still think i'm crazy doing this... and sometimes scares me when i see where i am and when it will end !!!

 

and as for mistakes i'll make them ... but the secret is to always find solutions to any problems.... that's how i work....

 

so without any further delay here is the progress of building 3 ... not quite finish (about 30%) so allot will change..... and will be lighted as will all other building and will look spectacular.... at this point building 3 is about 7 hrs old... and is harder to do then #2 ...trust me on that ....

 

How do you keep the buildings in level with each other? I like tower #2 the best, but this one looks really good too, like something out of Blade Runner.

well nuber 1 is totally incorporated and the other 2 are in free-movement mode (not incorporated yet) but the platform on wich they sit is pretty leveled so that helps allot ....as for tower 3 it will change allot so dont count it out as your favorite yet ;)

Damn, if the little details don't continue to impress me! And I love the dark background for this tower. It makes the small bits stand out, and the tower itself stands out from the other two as a result. I'm insanely jealous of the details you've been putting into this guy. :thumb

Don't tempt him. :tflaugh1 It'd be bigger than his house and fully automatic to the point that Unicron would take over and eat the earth :tflaugh JK Mark you're Metroplex is still looking great and continues to get better every day.

it looks good. i'm suprised you're working on the features first though. it might have worked better to start with the main bits that allow for transformation before focusing on the smaller parts. it's still impressive though :thumb

Where are the towers gonna go in robot mode? :tfhuh
