Just look at the hilt of the sword. The spikes near the top is the same that Megs used in the movie. That piece of scrapnel, sued Transformers for abuse and refused permission to use it's likeness.

Yeah that's totally what it is. The overall shape just reminded me of something else.

He's made out of pure electricity. Megatron created in an episode of the original series, with plans to use him to wreak havoc. Kremzeek became out of control though, but was eventually defeated.
