SW:TF New Waves?? when are they due out?

As for 'bling', the striped collar, the chest box, and the belt boxes are all direct from the movie (the chest box is a precise rendering; the belt boxes have been extended vertically and the green and red lights made silver, presumably for simplicity. The buckle isn't the right shape either.) The red dots on the shoulders are for the alt mode. But hey, you think what you want about him.

Thanks HunterRose for the info about the new helmet design; I had seen that archival art but hadn't remembered the name. (It's still not enough to interest me in the figure, though.)

FWIW - i like my TIE-Vader, bling and all.

but I also agree that hes one of the weaker molds in the line.

The SWTF line is a pretty good one. I got all the figures so far and I enjoy them even if some robots could be a bit more sturdy joint-wise. The new Vader looks good, I love that mold. Aren't they doing another bigger Vader with the Death Star or something?
