Alt. Rumble and Ravage

Recommended Posts

I guess I just don't get the reason for a second Ravage when there were so many other characters that needed a first version. Oh well. I won't complain as it is one of the last Alt's.

I like that they're new molds, I like the figures for what they're supposed to be... my only issue is Rumble's paint scheme, which really doesn't sit well with me. I guess because the mold was soooooooo GeeWun-ish in the littlest details, the wacky colors just make it look like G2 Rumble or something. Or at least G1 1/2.

I hate to say this but MP3 can be described the same way.

Not really; the wacky colors on Alt Rumble all come from the robot mode. They could have been anything without affecting the alt mode (which was red/black already). Starscream's color scheme was determined based on the alt mode.

I thought you meant Rumble's Black face, black back missles, transparent looking Piledrivers and his gold tape chest detailing is what was wacky. I was saying MP3 could be looked at as a G2 fig because he's so G1 but his colors are off just like the g2 Screamer.

I know what the MP3 designer was going for but I think if the Two ab panels were red, the 3 crotch panels were red and the feet were blue, it wouldn't have made one bit of difference to the Jet mode.

true dat

I got no more MP Starscream discussing left in me though :tflaugh

Maybe it's just that I don't think Rumble's face looks cool, period. Forget show accuracy blah, it's just not a very nice-looking color scheme to me.

*looks up Rumble's armpit*

Looks like there's plenty of room to kitbash arms of some sort in there. :thumb

Thank goodness! I was trying not to go there but I wanted to add that in my statement.

i think the whole two ravage thing was not only, jmo, was kittyvette just a lame attempt at getting more out of a mould but i look at it more along the lines of energon battle ravage. now with all the g1 love and nostalgia flowing here comes g1 ravage along with his cassette buddy rumble... thats just how i'm looking at it though, i'm glad i didn't pick up kittyvette now.

I'll buy them both. I hope Camshaft goes out with them, because I still haven't found him yet :(

You are not the only one. I saw Camshaft once and had no cash for him.
