I'd say Screamer's got more of a mouth than we may have originally thought. It looks like he's, well, screaming...

They look pretty neat. I'll probably only TF them once, because the pod forms look kinda...uninteresting, but the bot modes are pretty nice.

I don't hate them - if I cannot have the ark I am kewl with protoform molds [good idea bay] as long as they have cybertronian alts also - that is a kewl idea - if they have to take an earth alt diff from cybertronian why not a deep space mode as well - I liked beast wars alot and thought it was a great idea - but I like the ark better - they could have had both

 

-also -I do not think they look bad - but I do not want prime to look like primal in the movie and I wanted starscream to look closer to gen 1 - better than before? sure - do I like change? love it - but this is a movie based on gen 1 - so god forbid if I want it to look like what it is based on - why is that logic viewed as so wrong? that is what this fandom is about - we are digging alot of the change but a good head sculpt on a trans goes a long way - and why would they want to stick to some of these points that are over 20 years old - well b/c it created a fanbase that has stuck with it for over 20 years - b/c it was so kewl and so classic - u r redoing gen one but changing things that are so needless - look at the trans series over the years - what was successful? - beast wars was awesome cause it was so fresh and original - but it stayed true to our roots - while it had its' continuity flaws it did a really good job of being true to the existing story [and continuing it] - otherwise I think even hasbro knows by now, the more gen 1 homage, the more fans are happy and the more money they make....if u say this is for new kids and old kids - well I had no problems with my children loving the gen 1 trans - what makes u think they are not going to last the test of time? I think if anything we have only seen evidence to the contrary....

 

just imho though - i love all the series and welcome change - I just think for it to be gen one u should leave some stuff the same......that is the stuff we wanna see on the big screen....

 

anyway - sorry for rant - lol - stepping away from the keyboard......heh

I also like the concept of giant-sentient machines hurling themselves planet to planet. After all a comet like transport system is far more incognito than a starship.

Was about not to post again then I noticed We're getting Optimus Prime/Starscream. Not Optimus Prime/Megatron.

 

Guess Starscream always was more iconic than the Big M.

 

Anywhich way, can't wait to see the official earth based versions of these guys. :thumb
