I didn't want him in 1986 when I bought him as a consolation prize after not being able to find Hot Rod.

I picked up reissue Rodimus. I regret that purchase.

Yeah...Titaniums pretty much give me no reason to buy Classics

I once had a conversation with a friend of mine about why hotrod was better than Rodimus it mostly amounted to the fact that Rodimus is just a red Ken Doll.

Rodimus looks very nice. Must get him. It's nice that they made him transform with his trailer and all.

Soundwave, I'm less impressed with. With the exception of the head, I think I actually find his G1 version cooler. I dunno, his alt mode really lookds odd; almost seems like an afterthought...

I bet there's some sort of irony with Soundwave. Maybe, had they not made him the way he is, he would end up just like Titanium Megatron. Rodimus Prime looks great.

I'm glad they changed the box. The G1 font is still the best.

Ken has more articulation

Rodimus Prime is awesome.

Soundwave looks odd, but I think he's one of those figures that looks better in person.

I really want to love these guys but they both have issues and I've already been burned by this line before. I think what you see in the package is what your going to get as far as transformation is concerned.

At BotCon, someone over at Seibertron took a picture of the TT display case from the floor looking up through the glass shelves.

When you take a look at Soundwave from below, you can see that the two halves of elongated gray crotch area are actually formed from one solid piece each. It also looked as if the leg connections are securely fixed and do not slide. I was hoping that maybe the waist itself might collapse into the torso a little bit, but it seems from the pic, that the two pieces are fixed and swing outward on hinges.

As for Roddy, my eye can't help being drawn to the tiny little connection that connects his torso to his pelvis. I wouldn't have been concerned about this if the TT Jetfire I just acquired wasn't especially loose in his tiny little waist connection. Because of the upper body weight and the loose connection, I can't even get him to stand up straight.

Once again with this line, great designs and materials, poor implementation and engineering. Isn't anyone in Hasbro's quality control department paying attention here?

Technically, quality control wouldn't really have anything to do w/ the engineering and implimentatio of the designs. It's manufacturing of said designs where QC would come into play, not to say it's been spectacular to this point or anything.
