Alternators Interceptor

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I had my camera out (go check the End Cap if you need a TM Blurr), so I thought I'd snap a few quick shots at my latest. The only things I haven't done are tweak the door transform mod, given him a clearcoat, and some proper labels. Just for the record, I've had plans for this guy dating back to nearly February of '05 at least. I just had never got to him until a few months ago. He'll be the final member of the "Cybertronian Police" force, though I may do one more police car. I plan to shoot and PS-edit more photos later when I get more time (and have a lot more updates to share). Anyways, here is "Alternators Interceptor":

(No alt mode photos yet, as I'm waiting on designing/printing of the labels for that, plus an update with another major piece).

Enjoy! :)

Oh, I also thought you guys might enjoy a sketch I drew from memory as well. :thumb

So this is what you've been doing? Looks awesome!

that looks really sharp... especially with mirage's head. how easily does the head go on that mold? any modifiactions?

Looks cool SQ....and I agree with SS, Mirage's head looks good on the Grimmy/WJ body.

I like the new sig too.

Didn't you make a cop car from the Mazda mold also?

MAN I really like that. Superb. Those colors and head are perfect on the 'stang mold.

P.S. Are you planning anything with the rest of Mirage's body? Because I just might need one for ...experimentation.

I love the doors going back. It's definitely different! Also love how you have the innerlights painted up as police lights. And yeah, Mirage head looks good on this guy. I'll be waiting for alt-mode pics. :)

Thanks, SS! And thanks guys for your positive feedback; I really appreciate it!

I had to heavily mod the Mirage head for it to fit on the Mustang mold's neck. I had to completely cover the back of the head and then readjust the hole (after I covered the back) to accomodate the neck post.

Thanks for the props on my new sig, pk. I like doing teasers and such for my customs (I have a background in ad design). It's just fun :tfgrin

And as for the RX-8, yes, I did.

So, is this sort of like the new movie character then?

Other than sharing the same base (Mustang), no. My custom and the movie character that is similar to my custom (my idea dates back to Feb. '05) are totally different characters. Interceptor is an Autobot and is a 'good' cop. He's [almost] ready to apprehend some 'con too (gotta add the police deco labels)!
