So after the movie is done and on dvd we will get repaints of 2004-2005 model vehicles? Hasbro didnt think Nemisis Prime would sell well at $25 so they did a limited run? Decepticharge, Rollbar, Swerve and 2 Ravages(G1 & BW) and they pass on Megatron? The repulsiveness eminating from the Kiss line will keep me away from any new repainted Alts from our bro's to the west so what is left?

 

The bright side is my savings account will grow by leaps and bounds now, my wife thanks you Hasbro.

They also said that they MAY pick it back up after the movie....I hope they do, and when/if they do, I hope that Megs is first in line.

 

I mean, how could you have a Prime without a Megs in a Transformer line anyway?

 

And I'm with you on the perverted Kiss line. If there was only a way to get Hot Rod without the little perversion tied to it.

It's too bad Alts are being put on hold, but I'm not surprised. The line almost died once before, but Hasbro was able to get it back on shelves again (or maybe it was Walmart that did that... ). :(

 

In either case, I've enjoyed the line thus far, and I sincerely hope that it returns (hopefully sooner than later). :thumb

I dont see why they wouldnt just do one more as the very simple repaint of Alt. Rumble, give me blue Frenzy (or call it whatever they want, call it Rumble again for all I care)

 

It seems to obvious and simple and most Alt. collectors would be perfectly happy with at least that repaint.

either way alts have been a land mark toy not only for TF's but for all toys.

Putting Alts on hold because of the movie is like locking up Cinderella in her room so that her ugly step-sisters have a chance with Prince Charming.

i'm sorry but i can't buy them releasing 4 entirely new moulds and then ending the line with 0 repaints of said mould. it's not like they havn't lied before. although i could be wrong. i think that if they do indeed end the line for the movie, i don't think they'll bring it back. i hope they do, but i'm not going to hold my breath. however, like ErikB said this line has been a landmark for not just the franchise, but toys as a whole. it's done a good job showing what you can do with toys and just how amazing they can be.

I hope for the movie duration, Alts get "morphed" INTO the movie distribution, having movie characters in Alt sizes and more complex.

Alright Hastak if you're listening to all of this then you know that your fans want the Alts. It is supply and demand right? We demand and you supply. So stop your jabbering about ending our favorite TF line of all time and give us the Alts in continuation. After all you could make sure that all of the newer Alt figs can actually seat a person and use it as a cross line between GI Joe sigma 6 and the TFs. That way you could actually have the GI Joes sitting in the TFs like in all of the cross overed TF GI Joe comics. Heck you could even make Spike in the same fashion as the Sigma 6 mini figs and have him come with BB as a Ford Focus. Or if you guys do a Transofrmers the Movie Alternators line he could come with Camaro BB. What ever you do you can't let the Alternators line end with out a Megatron. It just isn't right!

 

Ok rant over. Alright TFans lets start an email campain an get Hasbro to continue our fav TF line. I'm sure we've all had an issue with Hasbro at one point or another so lets all email them. I'm certain that they would listen to 5,000 or 6,000 emails asking that the line continue. Heck look what happened when Chevy wanted them to make Tracks yellow. We responded in force and they gave him to us in his G1 color. I'm certain we can do this as well. So in the words of Optimus TFans TRANSFORM AND ROLL OUT! WE'VE GOT A JOB TO DO. 'TILL ALTERNATORS ARE BACK ON THE SHELVES.

i hate ravage (i like my tf's to have a human like bot mode kthx) and in not keen on the rumble we got (i liked the xbrawn idea more) so them ending is ok in my book hell maybe they will comback with some good ideas

 

but i am suprised they did not do a runamuck, runabout, ironhide and megatron
