Ark Not Making An Appearance In the Movie?

Recommended Posts

does it say that they dont have any sort of transport whatsoever?

just says the ARC as a location/character/plot device - is not featured.

With all due respects this is a question easily answered just by watching the TV shows or reading the comics. There are many needs for the Ark space ship well above and beyond being efficient. Here's what I can think of off the top of my head:

+ Home-base / Fortress

+ Advanced Weaponry

+ Critical recovery chamber

+ Tools and spare parts

+ Computer systems

+ Communications systems

+ Navigational systems

+ Energon reserves

+ Spare fuel

+ Stasus pods

The list goes on and to be factored in that any sort of group wanting to engage in a military encounter - if that's what this is - would really want to have the mobility and effiency a vehicle would offer in moving everyone the their things around fast.

Come on Guys! You need to get more familiar with Transformers. You might even enjoy yourselves. :thumb

Haha, you don't know the half of it. Go ahead, read it. It's hilarious!

i thought these guys grew up with transformers. well, i'm sure they'll make it up as they go along.

so is Mr. Orci saying that the movie tf's transform in to intergalactic spaceships cappable of faster than light travel when they want to go to another solar system? if so then he better have the details properly thought out. for starters, what kind of warp-drive power source will the tf's use that's small enough to fit on their bodies without hindering their ability to transform? and can the tf's use this power source for something other than their warp drive? if not then why? also, what happens to their spaceship form when they scan earth vehicles? do they lose it for good? if so then how will they get back to Cybertron? does each tf have its own spaceship form or do the "crews" disassemble into their basic components and then merge into something that looks like a borg cube which breaks apart and reforms into the individual tf's when they reach their destination(that would be kind of cool)?

i hope Mr. Orci put more thought into this other than "Vehicles driving vehicles is stupid LOL".

Yeah, but have we seen the Arc in any recent TF show? No. So I guess it isn't all that necessary.
