An old sketch I just spent an hour touching up...his chest plate was aDOOZY, and its still not the way I want it.

Okay Ive added a little background, did the best I could with his left arm. Heres the after shot...

 

Drawing freehand is a Starscream! Especially when your trying to keep the background in perspective.

Im gonna finsih his leg detail up and clean up the background and thatll be it. Otherwise I will just keep

adding stuff.

Right your are, as of this post the picture has changed a little bit. The chest plate is a little more solid, and of course I have to finish everything else.

Thank you, and thats a good question Blitz...I wanted to go with the original toy version for the head,

I was never really comfortable with the G1 cartoon face mask, plus I like drawing robot faces.

 

You have a keen eye. My style indeed is borrowed from DW. Since they are not around, I dont have to give it back. I was really excited when they re-released G1 and the style blew me away, but that mostly pertained to the cover art and splash pages. Some of the panels were horrendous. You probly know what I mean.

 

Heads up...her comes an updated Superion! (still not done)

 

After redoing his chest plate I am spent, I need a better picture of the toy so I can detail his left arm.

Color tends to confuse me. I would probably ink it then have someone else take a shot at it.
