I think Hasbro is throwing all leftover Cybertron stuff in Classics.

 

By the looks of it I agree.. I thought "classics" meant older pre existing characters..

Well he has a robotic dino mode, unlike Beast Megatron that was a organic dino alt mode that was purple.

And in one foul swoop Classics become non classics, WTF do these have to do with classics other than names???? they look good but belong in the universe line not classics!!!

feh... all my Minicons hang together anyway. Out of packaging, they'll fit right in.

Hell, all my transformers hang together so I don't really worry about what series they're from. I love the look of these little guys and can't wait to add them to my collection.

Yes. Hasbro decided to go with green after carefully considering, yet ignoring, the council's advice on realistic unproven colourings for extinct animals no one has ever seen in real life. Those madmen!

I'm actually quite pleased there are no characters named after G1 minibots. They remind me of some of the G1 micromasters (from the rescue, construction and battle patrol) Shame that swoop is a minicon though - would have preferred one same scale as grimlock.

As I said on Seibertron I thought the classic line was supposed to be remakes of classic G1 characters, not mini con leftovers from the Cybertron line.
