Just for fun, Mazda RX-78 Gundam

Recommended Posts

Ever since Mazda RX-8 Alternator Meister came out I've wanted to do something like this and now I have.

Gundam head and weapons come from the Gundam Arch Enemies 8" RX-78 figure. It's not permanent, in fact the head is just balancing on there, soon after Meister and Gundam will get their heads back.

(Note to self: Time to clean the windows)

Thats actually pretty cool...I'd leave it.

I'm thinking of buying a second Meister and a RX-78 model kit and doing a full on custom with a blue and yellow racing stripe going down the top of the car and adding some other colors and appropriate stickers.

Could mod the gundam head, and paint the rx-8 body in red and black, and voila you've got a g1 toy jetfire alternator. :thumb

Love that toy.

Wasn't sure what to expect, but that is actually pretty cool :)

This is pretty cool, especially since Meister is white and it's totally kitbashable into the color scheme of the original Gundam. :thumb

It's just too bad that the Full Armor ZZ didn't have the model number of "RX-78"... If it did, we could call this kitbash: "RX-8 jaZZ Gundam" :D

(for those who don't know, the Full Armor ZZ Gundam is often just called the FAZZ)

That`s even better than the digi repaint I did a while back. I`m surprised that Hasbro hasn`t tried to recrute the rights to Gundam. Shoot I`m surprised that when they had the rights to Batman that they didn`t do a Batmobile tf. Though the black Cybertron Megatron prototype looked very close.
