I can't believe they did this article... Transformer fans are everywhere :)

Meh, it's too limited by known robotics. Transformers are aliens first, and have been around for about 50 million years or so, which starts from the time of their creation as labor and war robots for others. I think it's safe to say that they operate differently than primitive Earth machines.

Oh pfftt, this is nothing new. This topic is already well known amongst all mecha-animé fans. As the Japanese see it, giant mecha are basically a form of science fantasy - and that is what the Transformers are.

Besides, they're not manmade machines, they were built by a God.

Whoa... it's weird trying to read something that's explaining something technical using non-metric units... none of it makes any sense to me at all. It's like reading some alien language... *makes.spooky.sounds*

I dug the article. BUt yeah, it only explains why it'd be impossible (or nearly so) to create TFs using *our* tech. THere's a really great reference to this, and i can't think of it now. Kinda like a fish learning about a man, and saying "but where are his fins? How does he swim around? where are his gills? How can he breathe without gills?" etc.
