But seriously, what were they thinking with the yellow splotch? There is no sense to that! I swear, if the final version has that, I will buy it just to burn it.

 

It's possible they did it on purpose to the proto just because of all the protos getting released, but I believe it's supposed to be 'battle damage'

I seriously doubt it is any form of battle-damage.

 

as in both sets of photos, the defacing is different, this one has more goop on the head, over a wider face area

 

 

There is no logical reason for it, if they use battle damage, ite either molded in (E Screamer) or scorch marks (20th Prime).

 

It is NOT battle-damage.

I like Cumface, and a two-pack is the only way I can see myself getting Classics Optimus. Of course, that's assuming the random paint splatters don't make it into production.

That's paint they use to mark protos

 

that's why his face is all splotchy

They use it so people that buy protos have "less interested in buying them"

JUDGING FROM EXPERIENCE, THE UGLY PAINT ON HIS HEAD IS ONLY THERE TO MAKE THE TEST SHOT LOOK UNATTRACTIVE TO POTENTIAL BUYERS. IT WILL NOT BE ON THE FINAL PRODUCT.

Is it just me or does it look possible that the spinning cannon arm can kinda spin side ways to reveal a arm?
