New rumors circulating, courtesy of ACtoys suggest Soundwave is not scheduled, but there are six (so far not named) Autobots scheduled 'Before 2008'

I really hope they get back into releasing these reissues.. I love them... have all of them.. its a small fortune for sure.. but they are worth it.

God, I would have a conitption fit if they re-release Ironhide and Ratchet... I've been wanting to bust a box of those for ages!

I'm not sure if the mold was lost or just modified into Soundblaster. Takara modified the 'blaster mold back into 'wave for their reissue.

 

Besides, I thought the problem wasn't the mold's availability but that Soundwave failed the drop test - but perhaps they've found a way around that (I'd imagine a warning that states - "for adult collectors only" would be sufficient).

 

 

I'm pretty sure it was said by someone at Hasbro that Soundblaster wasn't being reissued in the Commemorative line because it would've been too expensive for retail. It is possible they decided there is enough demand for it, but I think it's kinda doubtful. That being said though, I would crap my pants for a Soundwave vs. Blaster reissue multipack :drool

*these likely would break the prior agreement that Hasbro would not issue any items that were considered exclusives in Japan, however, if there is enough demand, it is possible Hasbro could issue these otherwise exclusives for a fee to Takara, and would be required to be modified to distinguish from the exclusive counterpart.

I have a good condition, stiff leg, 100% complete, Vintage Soundwave so i'm good

I'm still waint for Tak or HAs to reissue Dinobots. I hope they do get Soundwave out and keep it coming.
