Eh... I'm still going to hold out for a G1 paint scheme. Nice as the figure is, I abhor that paint scheme.

takaratomy's new club S.T.A.R.S will be selling him in G1 colours only 1 you need to be a member and 2 you have to live in japan to join so if your going to get the anime screamer your only hope is a scalper

To make judgements of a figure you saw a few crappy pics of on the net is just plain stupid.

How is that stupid?

The pictures are far from crappy, they're high quality enough, and even the crappy ones accuratley reflect what it looks like, unless of course this toy is unlike every other toy known to man.

The images are their chance to sell us the figures, particularly if they're selling it to the west through online stores only.

You'd think they would have made it easier for fans to get that color scheme, but maybe they were afraid that people wouldn't have chosen the gray version at all if they offered them both equally. Or something, I dunno.

If true, that would be the lamest reason ever.

Lame alright, but also likely

Maybe they just wanted people to argue about it on the INTERNET.

mission accomplished

I just wish that everyone would just shut the Powerglide up and cancel thier preorders if they had them,

this is a great figure, and the g1 color scheme is lame... AND ass hip wings are better than foot wings (sorry mercury)

"AND ass hip wings are better than foot wings (sorry mercury)"

Tell me Smith, for the sake of argument - would you rather have a pair of Purseus-style winged boots to get around in, or wings growing out of your ass? That's what I thought.

wow

i was refering to the fact that putting the wings on his hip was better than on his feet like on the g1 version

and you cant play basked ball in winged boots, not enuff traction, ass wings would enable me to dunk again though

They're tail fins, actually; the wings are on his back.
