Hasbro could release the set as 'Devastator' rather than the 'Constructicons' .

IMO, they should keep away from gift sets, and calling the group by the combined name. It takes the identity away from the individual bots(as if the Energon combiners didn't do that enough)

 

And Mega-sized leaders of the combiner teams would be great as Megas, and the other members would fit in more as deluxes. The Predicons should be all Megas and Constructicons all Deluxes. And they should redo Targetmaster Piranhacon.

I remember reading something back during Superlink/Energon about them not being able to use the name "Skyfire" on account of them not being able to use that name if the bot resembled Skyfire from the cartoon, hence the name Skyblast. It's been a while though, and my memory is foggy, so take it for what it's worth.

I pretty much agree with this, but I don't want all the prdicons to be megas.

Seriously, I think Hasbro lost the copytight to Skyfire, hence the Skyblast name and I don't think they've gotten it back yet.

 

 

And Combiners would just rock so much, but only if they don't have that inter-changeability thing going on. I always liked devastator since he seemed a complete robot, the other looked like mis-mash to me. I also feel the Energon combiners suffered because of it. I want them to be able to focus on creating an awesome combined mode and not cut corners so they could share pieces with other combiners.

I was just thinking that Takara (or Takara Tomy) should do a few 'Classics' of their own. Starsaber, anyone?
